NAPEG’s 35th Annual General Meeting is taking place at the Janvier Room, The Explorer Hotel, on Wednesday, May 13. The Association was formed in 1979 when the Act came into force. Prior to that, a society of engineers and geoscientists had been meeting regularly and, with assistance from Al Schuld, P.Eng. from APEGA, the Act and bylaws were written. You can recognize some of those Founding Members by their Member number which is three digit number beginning with 0. There has been a long relationship with the Alberta association that continues today. APEGA’s Board of Examiners reviews new applications for NAPEG and this service is much appreciated. Following the NAPEG AGM, there will be the AGM for the Education Foundation. The Education Foundation was established in 2000 and ready for its first AGM in 2006. It has taken many years to grow funds for the Foundation and the donations from registrants have been a big help. We hope you can join us for both AGM’s and for the President’s Reception which will follow the AGM’s.
