  • Climate Risk Institute Asset Management and Climate Resiliency course

    As part of their Infrastructure Resilience Professional (IRP) Credentialling program, the Climate Risk Institute is offering two online courses. The Asset Management and Climate Resiliency course (September 7-October 21, 2021) introduces the fundamentals of asset management so that learners can identify the benefits and challenges of infrastructure asset management and link this to their own practice, including land use planning, operations and maintenance, finance, and risk management. The Climate Change and Infrastructure Risk Assessment – the PIEVC Protocol course (October 6-November 3, 2021) will provide infrastructure professionals with information about, and practice with the PIEVC Protocol.

    After six previous successful offerings and more than 9,000 participants worldwide, Engineers Canada and Polytechnique Montréal have opened registration for a seventh offering of their free online course, Sustainability in Practice.   • Interested in the Infrastructure Resilience Professional (IRP) credential?

    Between June 7, 2021 and July 9, 2021, the Climate Risk institute is offering an online Course that will provide infrastructure professionals with information about, and practice with the PIEVC Protocol. The Protocol is a practical tool and process that systematically assesses the risks of extreme weather and future climate on public infrastructure.     Successful completion of this course will be recognized by the Climate Risk Institute as meeting one of the requirements of the Infrastructure Resilience Professional (IRP) designation.
