Call for Posters
NAPEG invites the submission of proposals for technical poster presentations at its 2015 Annual Professional Development Conference.
Poster submissions may describe recently completed work, highly relevant results of work in progress, or successful systems and applications, in all areas of engineering and geoscience. Posters are not considered formal publications.
Presenting a poster is a great way to communicate what your organization is up to, promote projects and get feedback. Poster presentations will be an informal part of the conference, with a session for interactive discussion between presenters and attendees, plus the opportunity where authors can orally present a brief summary of their work to all conference attendees. In order to maintain interactive and exciting poster presentations, at least one presenter per poster is requested to attend the conference.
Poster submissions should include a 1-page abstract, plus a draft of the final poster. Please prepare your poster in either portrait or landscape format with the following dimensions: 32" x 40" (82cm x 102cm). All submitted materials must be in PDF format with embedded fonts. Once accepted, it is the responsibility of the submitter to have the poster printed ahead of the conference.
